DESCRIPTION IMPERMOL is a high-efficiency grinding additive normally used to increase mill production and to improve cement quality in both initial and final resistance. This additive is formulated with a selection of raw materials with the objective of guaranteeing the quality of the cement and the high yields in a constant way. Thanks to its polar nature, the IMPERMOL additive significantly reduces the pack-set phenomena by modifying the range of size curve of the finished product, causing a beneficial effect on the characteristics of the cement and on the grinding operation. Therefore, it is possible to obtain an increase in production (savings in kWh / t) and mechanical resistance builder. CHARACTERISTICS The IMPERMOL additive can be successfully applied in all cases of pack-set (due to the moisture of the raw materials) inside tubular ball mills, as well as for OPC (Ordinary Portland Cement) type cements and for Cements with additions. The increase in mill production can generally vary between 10% and 30%, and generate an increase in initial stiffening between 20% and 35%, depending on the fineness of the cement, grinding system, mineralogical composition of Clinker, and additive dosage. SUGGESTED APPLICATIONS Use the IMPERMOL additive in case you need to: 1. Increase mill production and significantly reduce specific energy consumption. 2. Improve the strength performance of cement especially at an early age. 3. Improve separator performance and cement fluidity. ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS IMPERMOL reduces the Carbon Dioxide emission footprint for the production of its cement up to: 30,4 kg CO2 / t cement under typical dosage and application; 5.2 kg / t electric energy saving + 25.5 kg / t clinker saving. COMMON DOSE Ordinary Cements Portland (2,600-3,200 cm2 / g): 150-400 g / t Portland hardening cements (3,200-4,600 cm2 / g): 200-400 g / t Cements with additions: 350-500 g / t A higher dose is recommended if the objective is to replace the clinker with secondary raw materials (eg puzzolana, blast furnace slag, and fly ash). The upper dose limit is particularly recommended for the presence of a high percentage of calcareous. The optimum dose will be determined, in each case, through a reliable industrial test, preferably carried out together with a technician of the Additives Division. IMPERMOL can be added to the clinker conveyor or introduced into the first chamber of the mill using a dosing pump.
